We made it here no problem! The flights were long but it is worth it to be here. I think I can speak for everyone when I say taking a shower was one of the most refreshing things any of us have done in a while. After getting settled in we took a walk down to the Danube River. The bridges that scatter across the river are very pretty to see at night. One of them can be seen behind me in the photo below.
We were treated to a fantastic dinner and are ready to hunker down for the night. I am most looking forward to meeting my host tomorrow. She is a first year student that the university in Veszpreme and is studying American and German studies. She has talked about wanting to study abroad in America and I hope I can give her a lot of insight into our culture. Most of all I am looking forward to making a new friend tomorrow!
