On Tuesday we were in Veszprem and it was our second day with our host families. The two girls that I stayed with have a flat just about a ten minute walk from the university, and both of them were amazing hosts. They were very enthusiastic and welcoming and made me feel at home. One of the girls is coming to work at a camp in Elizaville, NY this summer for her first visit to America. She's going to try to come visit in Rochester if she gets a chance too which is so exciting!! It was amazing how easily we all became friends with our hosts and I think that many of them are friendships that will last a long time!
In the morning on Tuesday we spent the morning at the conference and listened to many great presentations. My own presentation was that day as well, and I felt very proud after I was finished. Alyssa and I presented on Art in the US election and it went really well. After the conference the art education students went to a local school and watched the students practice for the play in English that they were doing, Cinderella. It was really cute and neat to see a Hungarian school first hand. After that we went to some amazing art galleries in town, as well as the bishop's house. Those were so great to see and their beauty really took our breath away! Veszprem is a beautiful city and I am so thankful that I got a chance to be there! This trip has been amazing so far!
